Eclipse Solar to Introduce REC 245 Watt Peak Energy Modules

Eclipse Solar are happy to announce that as of next month, we will have REC 245 Watt Peak Energy Series Solar Panels available for all of our customers.

REC are starting to see the benefits of being a fully integrated solar company, allowing them to choose the very best quality Silica from their own mining facilities in the US, for their own REC panels, enabling them to manufacturer the most powerful Solar Panel per Square Meter for Multicrystalline panels available in the world.
So what does this mean for our customers? Not only can they boast to their potential installs that they provide a multi award winning European brand, but just as important, when installing systems of 3Kw or more, they will be dealing with one or more less panels, opening up the ability for larger jobs on smaller roofs, while saving the installer money on racking and time on installation.
The price per watt will remain the same, and specs will be made available shortly.

What is happening in the PV Market. Where is it going and where does the REC panel fit.

Flying in the face of the financial crisis, mounting overcapacity, intensifying competition and feed-in tariff (FIT) reductions, PV has displayed extraordinary resilience, with 2010 witnessing impressive growth in terms of new installations. Having bettered the 24 percent increase in global PV demand seen in 2009, the market this year (2011) is predicted to grow by between 80 and 90 percent.
