REC was ranked first amongst leading brands

REC was ranked first amongst leading brands in the first half of 2011 in the independent Photon Module Field performance test, producing 6 percent more electricity than other competing brands.

In the real world, dust, clouds, rain, heat and even sleet affect solar module performance. Each year, the leading Solar industry magazine Photon conducts the most recognized “field” performance test, comparing leading international brands. The test compares the energy produced per kilowatt of installed power under identical conditions over a 12 month period.

In 2010 REC boasted a second place.
